From Farmer's Markets to Vendor Craft Fairs, Our Tribe is Supportive and Strong
I love, love, love the “market life!” The markets are a fun and amazing way to share my doodles with so many people! Oh, and the people you will meet!! Their stories often become a doodle! They inspire me to create new characters for doodles and new background scenes. Every doodle has a story, and I love it when a new customer comes along to share their story, and I can use my talents to imagine their faces, and emotions, and all the joy they bring to those who know them. It is truly one of my favorite things about being an Artist, and giving that gift to share with the world.
My market peeps are vendors, makers, and artists who have become my FAMILY. Many of us go to the same markets to sell our products, and it is through this we have become so close. If you attend a market or vendor fair, you will see us helping each other, visiting, laughing, promoting each other and enjoying the time! There’s nothing better than doing what you love with those who have become your market family! I am grateful for each market family member I have made along the way. It has been a truly amazing gift to be a “Doodler” and give joy and support to all the artists and makers in our community.
Here in the South, the market season has just begun! Our Tybee Farmers Market happens weekly on Monday afternoons, and the Hilton Head Market is on Tuesday mornings at the Coastal Discovery Museum. Swing by one of our markets and come meet the family, we would be glad to have you join us!
